Having relocated to Dillon, SC, in the last two years, I have been in the field of counseling for approximately 25 years.
A licensed professional counselor, I received my Master’s Degree from Liberty University, in Lynchburg, VA in 2003. I completed a Bachelor’s Degree from Western Carolina University (WCU), in Cullowhee, NC, in 1973.
I worked in the field of human services after graduation from WCU, with breaks to raise my family. Early in my career I worked with adults as a vocational evaluator and vocational counselor.
While completing my Master’s degree I worked as an EAP Counselor, and family counselor in the home. During residency towards licensure I continued with EAP Counseling, in-home family and outpatient counseling.
My counseling style is greatly Influenced by my own life experiences (my marriage of 37 years -to the same man, two grown daughters, their husbands and four grandchildren), as well as professional experiences that include working with families in their homes.
